Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – February 2025 – VPG LaserOne successfully participated in the 36th Saudi Urological Association Conference (SUAC 2025), held from February 12–14, 2025 at the Crowne Plaza RDC in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event brought together leading urologists, surgeons, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across the Middle East and beyond to discuss the latest advances in urological care and surgical technologies.
Showcasing advanced laser solutions for modern urology
At booth #12, VPG LaserOne presented its latest laser solutions for urology, including the Urolase Premium, Urolase Max, and VTLase platforms. The company engaged with clinicians, distributors, and healthcare decision-makers, demonstrating how advanced laser technologies can improve outcomes in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), lithotripsy, and soft-tissue surgery.
Scientific program highlights latest clinical innovations
A key highlight of VPG LaserOne’s participation was its dedicated scientific session in the Prof. Khalid Fouda Hall on February 13. The program featured presentations by internationally recognized experts showcasing the latest developments in thulium fiber laser technology.
Professor Alim Dymov, MD, PhD, presented “ThuFLEP with Special Enucleation Pulse – A New Opportunity in Laser Treatment of BPH.” The lecture highlighted the capabilities of the new DissectPulse technology, designed to enhance anatomical prostate enucleation by combining effective tissue dissection with excellent hemostatic performance. Clinical data demonstrated its potential to provide a more efficient, holmium-like enucleation experience while preserving the advantages of thulium fiber laser technology.
Professor Alexey Martov presented “Thulium Fiber Laser Fragmentation with New Advanced Fragmentation Pulse,” introducing the innovative UltraPulse mode. The presentation demonstrated how optimized pulse sequences can significantly improve stone fragmentation performance while maintaining safety. Clinical results showed effective treatment of kidney, ureteral, and bladder stones, positioning the technology as a promising alternative to conventional lithotripsy systems.
Strengthening partnerships across the Middle East
Throughout the conference, VPG LaserOne representatives met with healthcare professionals and industry partners to discuss emerging trends in minimally invasive urology and explore opportunities for collaboration across the Middle East region. The strong interest from attendees underscored the growing demand for advanced thulium fiber laser solutions that support greater precision, efficiency, and patient safety.
