VPG LaserOne Healthcare, together with its partner IMV MED CHILE, supported the VII Course of the Endourology Chapter of the Chilean Society of Urology (SCHU), held on September 4, 2026, in Santiago, Chile.
Organized under the theme “Celebrating 10 Years with a Look to the Future,” the course marked the 10th anniversary of the SCHU Endourology Chapter and brought together Chilean urologists and international experts to exchange clinical experience and discuss advances shaping contemporary endourology.
Advancing technology through clinical knowledge
The scientific program focused on recent developments in laser technology, endoscopy and suction access sheaths, with particular relevance to prostate surgery and the treatment of urinary stones.
VPG LaserOne participated together with its local partner IMV MED CHILE, giving the Chilean endourology community an opportunity to explore the company’s thulium fiber laser (TFL) technology and its applications in modern urological practice.
TFL technology supports a broad spectrum of endourological procedures, from laser lithotripsy to soft-tissue surgery and prostate enucleation. Events such as the SCHU Endourology Course provide an important environment for connecting technological development with clinical experience and discussing how new capabilities can be incorporated into everyday surgical workflows.
Celebrating 10 years of endourology development in Chile
The 2026 course also represented an important milestone for the Endourology Chapter of the Chilean Society of Urology, celebrating a decade of activity dedicated to education, innovation and the development of endourology in Chile.
