VPG LaserOne contributed to scientific and educational programs at AAU Congress 2025

VPG LaserOne participated in the 22nd Arab Association of Urology Congress (AAU 2025) in Muscat, Oman, together with its partner Medcare, combining technological innovation with clinical expertise. Through scientific presentations, hands-on training, semi-live surgery sessions, and exhibition activities, the collaboration provided attendees with valuable insights into the latest developments in thulium fiber laser technology and its practical application in modern urology.

Showcasing the latest advances in TFL technology

As part of the congress program, VPG LaserOne-supported experts presented the latest clinical developments in thulium fiber laser (TFL) technology. Prof. Alexey Martov shared clinical data on advanced stone fragmentation technologies, including new pulse modes and Tissue Sensor functionality, while Prof. Alim Dymov presented next-generation TFL applications for BPH and bladder cancer treatment. These presentations highlighted how technological innovation continues to improve precision, safety, and treatment efficiency in endourology.

From scientific discussion to clinical practice

A semi-live surgery session provided attendees with an opportunity to observe real-world applications of TFL technology. Prof. Alexey Martov demonstrated safety-enhanced lithotripsy featuring Tissue Sensor technology, while Prof. Alim Dymov presented endoscopic prostate enucleation using a new generation of TFL systems. The session enabled participants to explore advanced surgical techniques and discuss clinical decision-making with internationally recognized experts.

Hands-on learning for the next generation of urologists

The educational program continued with an advanced laser workshop moderated by Dr. Yasser Farahat, featuring expert presentations and practical discussions on emerging laser technologies. Participants also engaged in hands-on training activities and simulation-based learning, gaining direct experience with modern treatment approaches and advanced laser systems. VPG LaserOne additionally supported educational initiatives for young urologists through practical training activities associated with the congress's PCNL simulation program.

Collaboration across the urology community

Throughout the congress, VPG LaserOne welcomed clinicians, researchers, and industry partners to its exhibition booth, creating opportunities to exchange clinical experience, discuss evolving treatment needs, and explore the future of minimally invasive surgery. The strong interest from attendees reflected the growing demand for technologies that combine precision, safety, and procedural efficiency.

Driving the future of laser-assisted surgery

By combining scientific evidence, clinical education, hands-on training, and technology demonstrations, VPG LaserOne's participation at AAU Congress 2025 reinforced its commitment to advancing urological care and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering better outcomes for patients.
